Lisa Janssen

Janssen is a journalism junior minoring in Spanish.  She is an Oklahoma City native who graduated from Putnam City North High School.  Janssen has interned for The Oklahoma Daily as a feature writer, a copy editor and a beat reporter.  Last summer, she interned at the Public Information Office of Oklahoma City writing press releases and employee articles for a publication distributed by the office.

Janssen, who is a student in the Honors College and maintains a G.P.A. of 4.0, is a Regents Scholar and a member of MENSA.  In her spare time, Janssen enjoys riding and showing Arabian horses, reading and spending time with her pug.  When she graduates, Janssen plans to work for an equine special interest magazine, or work as a copy editor for a magazine, or write for a Spanish publication.
