Graduate Program Application Process

Graduate Program Admission Criteria

Step 1 - Applicants seeking admission to the JMC Graduate Program must first meet all requirements for admission to the University's Graduate College. See gradweb.ou.edu for more information about required materials and for application.

Step 2 - Applicants must meet the course requirements listed below. If you do not meet all the requirements, you should contact the JMC Graduate Adviser, Kelly Storm to discuss your situation. In most cases, the courses you are missing must be taken in the first few semesters of your graduate studies.

Step 3 - Applicants should simultaneously submit their application to the Office of Admissions and the required supplemental materials listed below directly to the College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
