

Defined by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, transfer students are undergraduate students who have attended an accredited college or university and have attempted more than six semester hours, excluding remedial (pre-college) work or credit hours accumulated as a concurrently-enrolled high school student.
Transfer students who have attempted less than 24 semester hours must also meet performance requirements for first time entering freshman. See freshman requirements.
Students wishing to transfer into the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication must have at least a 2.75 grade point average. More information for transfer students can be found on the university admissions page for transfer students.
The university encourages you to submit your application for admission as soon as possible to maximize opportunities for housing, scholarships and financial aid. Applications for admission must be RECEIVED in the Office of Admissions by the dates below. A $40 non-refundable application fee is required of all domestic students.
