Directions to OU Gear-up Office

GEAR-UP stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs. This program encourages more young people to have high expectations for themselves, stay in and complete high school, develop good study habits, succeed in post-secondary education and training experiences.

The three major thrusts for Oklahoma City Public Schools are: direct college-oriented services for students and parents; curriculum alignment and teaching strategies helping students to be prepared for post-secondary studies; and establish and maintain relationships with post secondary and business partners.
