Answers
1. How does President Boren plan to use Associates funds?
President Boren’s top priorities for OU include revitalizing undergraduate education and rewarding professors who excel at teaching and mentoring students. He is sending a message that a degree from OU signifies an education equal to any public university in the country. Associates funds are a major source of funding for this initiative.

2. I want to support the University, but I also would like to support my college. Can I do both through the President’s Associates Program?
Yes. Regents’ policy allows half of the contribution to be designated for a college or academic program. Each college has benefited in some way over the years. So you can belong to the President’s Associates and give to your college at the same time. You may also choose to give 100 percent of your gift to support the President’s highest priorities.

3. What options do I have when making my contribution?
Signing a pledge card begins your membership as an Associate. Your tax-deductible gift can be made at that time or at a later date either by check, debit card, stock transfer, credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover), or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Participation is on an annual basis. You will be invited to renew your membership one year from the date of your initial gift.

4. My company has a matching gift program. How do I use this plan?
Matching funds are accepted for this program. All you have to do is fill out the matching gift form (available from your Human Resources department), send it to OU with your gift, and the OU Foundation will take care of processing the funds with your company.
