What is the OU enrollment commitment?
All incoming freshmen for the fall 2013 semester are required to submit a $250 enrollment commitment as soon as possible after admission to OU. This commitment will cover your housing advance payment and an enrollment program fee and will be used to secure your place at OU.
Who pays the enrollment commitment?
Students who are entering as freshmen in the fall of 2013.
Can I defer the housing advance payment?
We provide the opportunity for students who have financial need and plan to apply for federal financial aid to request a deferment of the $175 housing advance payment portion of the enrollment commitment. Learn more about enrollment commitment deferment.
NOTE: If you choose to defer your housing payment, you will not be assigned a room in the residence halls or receive a mutually requested roommate if your enrollment commitment deferment form is not received and processed.
If you pay the Enrollment Commitment and then decide not to attend OU, your payment is refundable if a request is submitted in writing by May 1, 2013.
