Activities at OU: Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Hispanic American Student Association and Early Birds Program

Hobbies: I've been involved in research since I was 18 and I've enjoyed conducting independent research on campus in one of the microbiology laboratories. I also love photography! Most of my subjects are family and my beautiful sisters!

Why I chose OU: OU is a reputable research university and I was very interested in the College of Arts and Sciences. The school I now belong to has given me so many opportunities to grow as a scientist such as the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program and independent research!

Favorite Things to do in Norman: My favorite place in Norman is Maggie Moo's Ice Cream Parlor! Ice cream is my favorite food and this parlor is that absolute best to go with friends and family for a delicious treat!

Favorite OU Tradition: I actually really love Dead Week! It's more commonly known as an extremely stressful time but I love Bizzell Library! I love seeing everyone I know come to the same place and cheer each other on through finals!
