Having two generations of family graduate from the University of Oklahoma, I seemed destined to wear Crimson and Cream. Being born and raised in Norman I learned early on about the exceptional academic and extracurricular experiences OU provides its students; because of this I knew I had to be Sooner.

The University of Oklahoma is second to none in the diverse opportunities it offers its students, and I took advantage of as many as possible. I joined the Honors College, which exposed me to the rigors of postgraduate studies. I joined academic clubs and competed in national academic competitions that provided me with opportunities to practically apply classroom theories. I interned in the OU Athletic Department, where I found out what goes into making "Sooner Magic." I studied abroad in Mexico, where I learned to see other cultures and my own in new ways. These experiences and many others enriched my time at OU and continue to enrich my life.

This is why I say I am honored to be the third generation to graduate from OU and to continue my family tradition; for whatever your desires, wants and needs, OU can fulfill them.
