I’m an Oklahoma boy, so naturally when it came down to choosing a college, OU was my #1 choice. At that time, I had no idea of what was in store for me. The university has so much to offer and I took advantage of every opportunity afforded to me. The University of Oklahoma gave me the opportunity to broaden my horizons and become involved in a number of opportunities. I got involved in a little bit of everything, from Greek life to student government, to community service, I really tried not to limit myself and try a host of new things. While doing this I really made a lot of connections, met a few good friends, and had some good times that will stay with me for the rest of my life. As a staff member, I knew I wanted to help students have the same experiences and opportunities that I had at OU. That is my primary goal as the Southeastern representative.

Walking around the South Oval on sunny days when students are walking to class.
When Sooners stand with their right index finger in the air and sing the OU Chant at OU functions like graduation and athletic events because it connects all OU students.
Our family atmosphere - it feels like a small, liberal arts college. Wherever I go on campus, I always find people willing to help if I need anything or have any questions.
