You can certainly reach your goal of becoming a Sooner largely because President David L. Boren is committed to keeping the door of opportunity open for all qualified students. Even though OU’s tuition and fees remain near the bottom of the Big 12, OU’s Campaign for Scholarships has passed the $130 million mark, allowing the university to double new scholarships for students in just four years. New scholarships have been created for incoming students, while many OU students are already benefiting from the overwhelming success of this effort through Sooner Heritage scholarship awards. From the administration, faculty and staff to our generous alumni and friends, the entire OU family is dedicated to providing access to students who want to attend the University of Oklahoma.

To serve students better, we are excited to announce the arrival of one application for all general scholarship programs for incoming students looking to enter OU in fall 2010!
Apply for all general freshmen scholarships at OU by completing our online scholarship process, which is part of the admission application. February 1 is the deadline to apply for these scholarships. A list of the general freshman scholarships covered by the admission/scholarship application is available above. For other scholarship opportunities, a comprehensive list of OU scholarships may be found at scholarships.ou.edu. Some OU academic areas may have further requirements (e.g., auditions for the School of Music).
The general transfer scholarship application is now part of the admission application. March 1 is the deadline for these scholarships. Transfer students may also be eligible for departmental scholarships. A list of the general transfer scholarships covered by the admission/scholarship application is available above.
