When President David L. Boren arrived at OU 14 years ago, he said one of his top priorities was “to provide our students with new opportunities to prepare for the international environment in which we live and work.” The entire OU community remains dedicated to this commitment today, which is why the Education Abroad office provides 174 reciprocal exchange agreements in 66 countries that allow OU students to earn credit while abroad and students from around the world to study here in Norman. OU ranks first in the Big 12 in international exchange agreements. That means you have plenty of chances to travel and study abroad.
At OU, The popular OU Cousins program pairs up U.S. and international students so they can create cross-cultural friendships. OU encourages its students to find their place not only in the OU community, but also in the world community. With so many places to study abroad, we are sure you will find your dream destination!
