International Degree Equivalency

To earn a bachelor’s degree in the U.S. educational system, students complete 16 years of formal education–12 years of elementary and secondary education plus four years of undergraduate study.

To be eligible for graduate study at The University of Oklahoma, you must have a degree that is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university.

Your Admissions Counselor will review your academic records and determine whether you are eligible for graduate study. In some instances, we may request that you submit additional documentation to assist in this process.
