*Note: Thanks to Christina Kim for getting the minutes written up so promptly. Lee and Christina were the only two in town for the meeting.

At the meeting, Lee and I went over several different topics.  Lee suggested that we could have a few events that would get HKN more known around the campus and recruit new members.  Here are some of the possible events that suggested:

• An HKN “Welcome” barbeque on a Saturday at the beginning of the fall semester to get to know HKN members and possibly recruit more members.
• A Mixer Event in the basement/entrance of Carson Engineering Center to introduce HKN and possibly give an informal ‘advising’ session for students who need more direction.
• Ice cream booth (possibly Marble Slab) on a few Saturdays with home football games in conjunction with the Engineering Club Hamburger Feed.

Lee also suggested having two induction ceremonies, maybe a small informal one during the fall in the HKN/IEEE office and another more formal one during the spring.  The bank account was briefly discussed; however we need to figure out the amount of money that has been unaccounted for.
