Scholarship Benefits *
• Admittance into OU’s Joe C. and Carole
Kerr McClendon Honors College
(recipients must complete an Honors
College application, available online at
www.ou.edu/honors)
• Scholarship support of $1,000 to 3,000 per
year (renewable up to fi ve years)
• First-year advising by the OU Scholars
Program
• Group involvement in activities on
the OU campus and vicinity.
• Participation in a community-service
project.
• Professional working relationship with a
mentor from BP
• BP INSPIRE group trips to BP headquarters
and other industry sites
• Leadership development and participation
through the Honors College Leadership Center.
• Invitation to apply for BP Study-Abroad Awards
of $3,000.
• Internships at BP offi ces and sites
* The activities listed here are planned for each BP INSPIRE
scholar, but participation in every event is not guaranteed for
every student in the program.
