OU Honors College Support Staff

	Mindy Jones Mindy Jones is the Staff Assistant II or Secretary, for the administrative office of the Honors College. She greets visitors, answers phones, schedules appointments for the dean and associate dean, and tackles anything else that might arise in a day’s time. She is also the Graduation Secretary, which means she tracks and clears students for graduation. In addition, Mindy coordinates the efforts involved in faculty search positions and gives out special permissions for honors classes during enrollment periods.
	Kathy Gross Kathy is the Financial Administrator for the Honors College, OU Scholars office, Forensics, and Policy Debate Teams. URD, UROP, and HRAP budget information comes to her. She is a notary and will notarize absentee voting information, etc for students at no cost. Employee time sheets and payroll information should go to her.
	Greg Surber Greg Surber is the Information Technologies Specialist for the Honors College. His duties include: maintaining a student database, maintaining all computer systems, supervising the computer lab, and assisting with all technological questions. Students can come to Greg for help with: issues with and access to the computer lab, questions about Honors College e-mails, or questions about Honors College classroom technologies.
	Michelle Johnson Michelle Johnson oversees the development (fund-raising) and grant application effort for the Honors College. She also assists the Dean in the development of special programs that serve Honors students as connecting the Honors College to other units in the university and the state of Oklahoma.
	Cindy Sohl Cindy Sohl is a Staff Assistant II for the Honors College. Cindy schedules classrooms and produces the Honors newsletter. She is a part time employee and typically works mornings. Contact Cindy for URD program information, room scheduling or general Honors information.

Cindy Sohl
