The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) offers financial assistance for scholarly and creative projects under the mentorship of a faculty member. Dozens of research projects are funded each year in support of ambitious and exciting research endeavors.
No Second-Year Slump for MH Scholars
“Sophomore- or Second-Year Slump” has been recognized since 1956, when psychologist Mervin Freedman wrote about it in the Journal of Social Issues. The Medical Humanities Scholars who entered the Honors College in Fall 2018 seem unfamiliar with this sophomore “syndrome,” however.

This year’s Undergraduate Research Day (URD) will take place Saturday, April 4 in Wagner Hall. This may sound like long way off, but talk titles and abstracts are due Monday, February 24, 2020.
