1. Boren Scholars: Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded for the 2012 program.
2. Students may apply for the President’s International Travel Fellowship (PITF) which may be used to defray airfare costs. See http://www.ou.edu/content/cis/education_abroad.html for information and the application for PITF.
3. Some scholarships, such as National Merit and Regents, provide funds for summer school; students must be full-time to use these scholarships. Contact the National Scholars office for rules and more information, 325-1290.
4. Students should contact the OU Financial Aid Office at financialaid.ou.edu and the “Funding Study Abroad” at ou.edu/ea for more sources of available financial aid.
If a student is receiving financial aid, or is a National Merit or Regents Scholar, s/he must notify in advance the appropriate office (Financial Aid or the National Scholars office).
