The Honors College at the University of Oklahoma is a premier learning community in higher education. With its library/study hall, Leadership Center, computer lab, classrooms on site, atrium garden courtyard, most classes no larger than 19 students, and residential floors above the classrooms, David L. Boren Hall is a small liberal arts college in the midst of a great state university. The Honors College is a beautiful facility but also an attitude about high achievement and extending intellectual potential to the fullest.
Its Writing Center helps students prepare to be effective CEOs, doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists, artists, and government leaders. Its medical Humanities Program guides pre-med students to a guaranteed place in OU’s school of Medicine. Its Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program gives research grants to young scientists and humanists, and on Undergraduate Research Day they proudly present the results of their work. Its Honors in Oxford (England) Program is one of the most rewarding and successful study-abroad opportunities in America.
All of these opportunities combine to make OU’s Honors College a prime educational destination for high-achieving students. Accept the challenge to excel in one of America’s finest colleges, and let us show you the excellence that is the University of Oklahoma!
I look forward to welcoming you to campus!
