The Honors College at the University of Oklahoma is a beautiful place to live and study and also to find a strong sense of community with other high-achieving students. In effect, the Honors College represents an attitude about high achievement and being dedicated to expanding intellectual potential to the fullest. Its high-quality faculty challenge students daily in small classes (usually with no more than 19 students) with stimulating interdisciplinary topics.  In fact, faculty from many colleges at the University of Oklahoma teach exciting Honors courses in over fifty majors.

The Honors Writing Center helps students raise their communication skills to the level needed to be effective CEOs, doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists, artists, and government leaders.  Its medical Humanities Program guides pre-med students through a rigorous and rich curriculum--and a guaranteed place in OU’s school of Medicine.  Its Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program gives research grants to young scientists and humanists and invites them to present their work on Undergraduate Research Day. The Honors in Oxford (England) Program is one of the most rewarding and successful study-abroad opportunities in America.
