When it comes to national recognition, the past year has been full of gains for the Michael F. Price College of Business. With more than 4,900 students, the University of Oklahoma’s second-largest college has experienced a year of growth, both in student enrollment and through significant strides in a number of national rankings.

The following represents the College’s rankings increases in chronological order:

  • In February, TFE Times announced the College’s recently designed Master of Science in Management Information Technology Data Analytics program joined the nation’s Top 20 in its 2019 Best Master of Business Analytics Programs.
  • In March, the College’s MBA programs received their highest rankings in the past 15 years from U.S. News & World Report. According to the report, OU’s full-time MBA program rose 18 spots to No. 58 in the nation, while the professional (part-time) program climbed eight spots to No. 52. The rankings place OU’s MBA programs among the Top 35 public universities that offer MBA programs, with the full-time MBA receiving a rank of No. 31 and the professional MBA a rank of No. 29. The programs are housed in the Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business, which operates across all three OU campuses in Norman, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
  • In September, the College announced a considerable jump in rankings for its undergraduate programs by U.S. News & World Report. In its 2020 Best Colleges Rankings, Price College’s undergraduate business program ranked No. 50 in the nation, up 12 spots from last year. This ranking is the highest Price College’s undergraduate program has received in its history – a ranking that represents No. 31 among all public business schools.
  • In November, the full-time MBA program leaped 15 spots from 2018 to No. 64 in the nation in Bloomberg Businessweek’s ranking of the 2019-20 best MBA programs. The improvement in Price College’s ranking is attributed to significant increases in three categories: learning, networking and entrepreneurship. The overall score represents a ranking of No. 32 among public schools and indicates the third-highest jump in rankings among public schools.
  • Also in November, the College announced the graduate entrepreneurship program was, for the first time, ranked among the top programs in the nation by the Princeton Review/Entrepreneur Magazine at No. 17. While the undergraduate entrepreneurship program has been among the top programs in the Princeton Review ranking for many years – including in 2019 – it is the first time the graduate program broke into the Top 25.
  • In late December, Poets&Quants announced another double-digit ascent for Price College in its Best of 2020 ranking for undergraduate programs, placing the College at No. 57, up nearly 20 spots from last year.
  • And in January of this year, U.S. News & World Report announced another brand-new ranking jump. In the 2020 U.S. News Best Online Programs rankings, the Price College of Business surged 15 spots to No. 55 in the nation for its online master’s business program (non-MBA) after debuting in 2019.

Additional recent rankings include:
