ISA Council Members and Officers Present: Susan Lauterbach, Dan Hough, Grettie Bondy, Beth McCoy, Sophia Morren, Joan Goth, Lisa Bowles

Members and Guests: Diane Mayes, Sherrell Taylor, Elaine Bradshaw

The meeting was called to order. Attendees introduced themselves.

Reports: Joan Goth talked to Kim Haddad in Employees Benefit Committee. EBC sent a recommendation to President Boren to select Aetna as the employee insurance plan. There should be more information on the Human Resources web site soon.

Plans for the year: Joan announced ISA plans for the upcoming year. They are as follows:

October: A welcome back meeting. Jack Hobson will be the guest lecture. His topic will be “Ghost on the OU campus”.

November: A tour of the Stephenson Research Center @ 11:30 with a brown bag lunch.

December: Christmas party

Other possible programs discussed included: tour of the new Journalism facilities, the art museum, Natural History and the Physics building.

The meeting was adjourned. Next meeting will be November 6, 2004.
