Taking a Session Break from CESL

If you are a CESL student and you complete four or more consecutive sessions at CESL, you may take one session break from CESL while maintaining your F-1 status. You may travel outside the US during that time, leave the US after those 60 days, or resume CESL.

If you complete three or less sessions at CESL, you must depart the US within 14 days of your last day of class. You cannot stay in the US more than 14 days after your last session if you have taken three or less CESL sessions. IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN YOUR F-1 STATUS, YOU MUST ADVISE THE OU ISS OFFICE VIA EMAIL IF YOU INTEND TO TAKE A SESSION BREAK FROM CESL.
