The University of Oklahoma International Student Services (OU ISS) is here for you after you graduate.  If you have questions, call or email our office. Below are some of the services OU ISS provides to international alumni:

Copies of Immigration Documents

OU ISS maintains hard copies of your immigration file for three calendar years after you complete your program, including OPT.  If you need a copy of your old I-20/DS-2019, EAD, I-94 or visa, e-mail us and we will check your file and send you copies.  After three calendar years from the last semester in active F-1 status (including post-completion OPT), all student files are destroyed.

Immigration Status Verification Letter

Alumni may request a letter verifying immigration status verifying status while at OU as an F-1 or J-1 student.  Status letters are sometimes requested by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or by your employer.  OU ISS can provide this letter for you. Download and complete the Letter Request Form on the website under Forms, and submit it to our office.

Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Flag Removal

Have you gone through US immigration inspection at a port of entry and been told you have a "negative hit" on your immigration record, or were you advised in a US consular interview that you had a "red flag" on your immigration record?  OU ISS office can assist in these situations by requesting that the flag be removed from your SEVIS immigration record or finding further information for you regarding what kind of negative flag is on your record, and why.  If you have questions about this type of problem, send us an email.

Official OU Transcripts

To obtain an official transcript that is a record of your academic courses and grades during your OU attendance, you must contact the OU Academic Records at (405) 325-4147, or go to their website here.

International Alumni Clubs

OU Alumni Clubs are an extension of OU and promote the university by serving as a liaison between OU and its alumni, students, and friends.  There are a number of international alumni clubs affiliated with OU.  For more information, contact:
