To: All Students who chose exchange it!

On Wednesday, August 1, OU IT will exchange your current OU Mail account for a mailbox on the new reliable, feature-rich Exchange 2007 email system. 

At that time, OU IT will send all new email to your Exchange account, and convert your current mailbox for view only access. 

Once exchanged, you can access Exchange via:

     *  The web (PC and Mac) by logging in at http://exchange.ou.edu. 
     *  Desktop clients like Outlook or Entourage by modifying your account settings (PC and Mac): http://www.ou.edu/itlabs/email/connect.htm.

Email in your current inbox will not be transferred to Exchange. To check your old mail:

     *  Click the Old Mail button located on the left-hand side of the Exchange log in page.  

Why are you getting exchanged? You either selected the exchange it! option from the account page or you did not make a selection before the July 1 registration deadline.
