  • Camp Crimson 2006 report was issued and delivered to the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Oklahoma in its planning and decision making for next year's event.

  • The first report on specially-admitted 1998-2001 cohorts were issued to the Athletics Department at OU.

August 28, 2005

  • CSAR completed its on-line evaluation survey of OU's Camp Crimson 2006. The project drew a total of 378 participants. CSAR also completed a special study on the academic performance, persistence, and graduation of specially-admitted student athletes at OU.

August 16, 2005

  • CSAR completed its on-line evaluation survey of OU's Camp Crimson. The project drew a total of 400 participants, representing an excellent 42.1% response rate.

March 23, 2005

  • CSAR is working with the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Oklahoma in developing an evaluation instrument for soliciting feedback from participating students in its orientation camp.

March 21, 2005

  • CSAR is the process of conducting a student satisfaction survey, If you are student at the OU Health Sciences Center and Tulsa-Schusterman Center, please visit this link to take part in the survey. Your input is extremely important and valuable in making improvements and changes to the existing program.

November 11, 2003

  • The final 2003 Oklahoma College Student Credit Card Study has been released and is available here.

September 2, 2003

  • The final report on the statewide student credit card survey will be available for viewing or download from this website on September 9, 2003. The survey represents the first ever statewide study of credit card issues among college students.

May 12, 2003

  • The OU HSC and Tulsa-Schusterman is currently conducting a survey assessing student attitudes toward a variety of student services and functions. If you are a registered student and are interested in participating, please click here. This project is currently on hold until further notice.

March 26, 2003

  • The statewide credit card survey is now closed. A preliminary report will be available in mid-summer to be followed by a more detailed report in the fall.

March 3, 2003

  • The responses to the credit card survey have been good. Taking into consideration requests from some institutions, the deadline for the survey has been further extended to March 21, 2003.

January 22, 2003

  • The deadline for participating in the statewide credit card survey has been extended to February 28, 2003. Participating institutions are encouraged to contact their students to take part in the survey.

September 19, 2002

  • The web-based version of the survey instrument was made available today. If you are interested in seeing the survey (since it is now taken off-line), please email the CSAR staff.

September 11, 2002

  • The statewide credit card survey is now in its third cycle of revision. It is now ready for pilot testing. Institutions can pilot test the instrument by simply downloading the survey instrument and administering it to a few students. CSAR will be very interested in hearing all feedback given by the students about the survey. Please forward that information to us so that we can make further improvements to the survey.

June 27, 2002

  • The Center is actively soliciting feedback about the credit card survey. Please forward all your comments to us. It is anticipated that the second version of the survey will be completed by the July 11 COSA meeting.

  • Membership in the consortium is important to its success. If you share the vision of the Center and wish to contribute to its success and future, please join the consortium now. A June 2002 Newsletter is available for your viewing.

May 5, 2002

  • The Center has agreed to conduct a statewide survey of issues related to credit card use and misuse among college students, undergraduate and graduate, in Oklahoma. The targeted administration date of this survey is November 2002. The survey will have important national implications as well.

January 5, 2002

  • The Center is considering developing a statewide survey of adult learners (nontraditional college age students). In addition, the Center is currently assisting the University of Central Oklahoma in a research project dealing with issues related to career services.

  • The Center is conducting a membership drive. A convenient sign-up sheet is available here.

March 1, 2000

  • The Center is currently working with the OU Health Sciences Center on a project dealing with the level of student satisfaction with student services.

February 15, 2000

  • The Center's staff is in the process of conducting a research study focusing on predictors and effects of alcohol consumption. The campus of East Central University in Ada has been chosen as the site for this study.
