Adopt a Child

For the 2011 Holiday Season, OU Leadership Development and Volunteerism office has teamed up with the Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center. Our goal is to make the children feel more secure and “at home” in the hospital during the holidays. We are gathering new pajamas, blankets, toys and other simple comforts that can help.   Many families come to the hospital in emergency situations, with little time to pack items.  Additionally, over 70% of families served are considered “low-income” and could use a helping hand.

How to Participate:

Step 1:   Fill out an Adopt A Child form (located in OMU Room 249-253) by December 1st.
Step 2:   The Leadership and Volunteer office will assign you a child in need 
Step 3:   Purchase item(s) for your child and return them UNWRAPPED to the Leadership Development and Volunteer office (OMU Room 249-253) no later than Friday, December 9th at noon.

We would love for you or your group to participate this 2011 Holiday Season! We would love for 100 children to be "adopted" and have a goods night rest.
