An Evening with the Great Orators: GREEK COMMUNITY FACULTY FORUM Tuesday, March 3 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. (Tentative date) Sorority and fraternity members select their venue of choice and gather at various chapter houses and campus locations to participate in "faculty forums" that include a brief program and Q&A with some of the university's finest faculty members. Several “forums” are held simultaneously on a designated evening each semester to provide an experience of intellect and interaction with an outstanding faculty member who is an expert on an identified topic. At each site, a reception is held following the program to create an informal opportunity for students to interact with the faculty member and have continued conversation. Sororities and fraternities host the venues and receptions to encourage interaction among the members of all the various Greek groups. Coordination of the forums are headed by Leadership Development and Volunteerism and LEAD Team along with assistance from identified representatives from the individual Greek Councils and representatives from sorority and fraternity chapters (this may also be the Adopt-a-Prof student contact). Stay tuned for more details of this exciting, innovative program!
