PETROLEUM EXPERTS DONATES MORE THAN $2.3 MILLION IN SOFTWARE
The Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy has received more than $2.3 million in software from Petroleum Experts (Petex). Petex is a leading provider of petroleum engineering software tools that enables the oil and gas industry to model dynamically their oil reservoirs, production and injection wells and surface pipeline networks as an integrated production system. The company is recognized across the international oil and gas industry as the technical market leader within its area of expertise.

This gift gives us the capability to provide relevant learning experiences to our students, who benefit by gaining experience and confidence in real-time field management and reservoir modeling using the latest and most widely used software in the industry,” said Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy Dean Mike Stice.
