Al Jasrah Handicrafts Centre: Gives the history of Bahraini handicrafts, photos, gifts, and news on Bahraini handicrafts.

Bahrain Tourism: The official Bahrain Tourism site. Tourism in Bahrain and tourist attractions. Information on hotels and places to stay, restaurants, rent cars, and travel agencies.


Bahrain Stock Exchange: Up to date stock quotes, central depository, statistics, market, and publications. Includes announcements in English and Arabic.

Ministry of Finance and National Economy: Contains information on organizational structure, economic agreements and performance, and public finance. (Available in English and Arabic)

Economic Development Board: This web-site encourages foreign investment and banking in Bahrain. Includes information about leading economic indicators, procedures and policies about investment and travel possibilities.

Kingdom of Bahrain Homepage:Bahrain govenrment official site. Includes a wide variety of links to information on Bahraini government (including its Constitution) and its ministries, economy, tourism, and entertainment. Additional links available to many statistics regarding Bahrain. (Available in English and Arabic)

Bahrain Government Homepage: Official website of the royal family of Bahrain. (Arabic) The monarch appoints the prime minister. Includes video clips and articles.

Ministry of Information: Homepage of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and Information. Contains links in English to Bahrain's government ministries and departments. Includes links to news and archives.

Ministry of Commerce and Industry: Bahrain Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Contains laws, procedures, and business partners.

Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Washington: Contains information on tourism and visas. Includes links to Bahraini news, business, and military.


Alayam: Leading Arabic newspaper in Bahrain. Available in text and PDF format. Includes links to other news sources.

Bahrain Tribune: Leading English newspaper in Bahrain. Also available int text and PDF formats.

Beit Al Qur'an: Islamic Cultural Institution in Manama. Includes museum and library, with links to further information about various texts and history.

St. Mary's Orthodox Syrian Church: Official Website. Has a steady congregation of around 2,500, mostly immigrants to Bahrain from the Indian subcontinent. Includes links to church officers and other news of interest as well as links to Bahrain in general.
