Valerie Devol

Education:
Ms. Devol received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1988. She received a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 1991. She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 1997, and a Masters of Laws Degree in Taxation from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 1998. She is admitted to practice law in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and the United States Tax Court.
Experience:
Valerie Devol joined Andrews Davis in January, 2003. Her practice includes federal and state tax planning and tax controversies. Ms. Devol specializes in tax-driven transactions, business planning, including business succession and estate planning, business transactions, tribal business transactions, real estate transactions, corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and tax-exempt organizations. Prior to joining Andrews Davis, Ms. Devol practiced with the Kansas City firm, Swanson & Midgley L.L.C. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Devol worked in the banking industry.
