Russell has been with OGS since 2000 as a GIS Specialist. He got his start at OGS mapping earthquakes at the Leonard Geophysical Observatory. His duties as a GIS Specialist consist of cartography, geodatabases, spatial analysis, and publication maps and graphics.
His current key projects and interests include geologic mapping for the STATEMAP program and Roadside Geology of Oklahoma. He has a B.A. in Applied Geography from Northeastern State University of Oklahoma and an M.A. in Geography from The University of Oklahoma.
