Welcome to the Oklahoma Early Mathematics Testing Program (OKEMTP) website!

Have you ever wondered if you have the math skills you need to be successful in college?

How do you know what math skills you have mastered and what skills you need to improve?

If you’ve asked yourself these questions, this is the right place to find the answers.  The University of Oklahoma has teamed up with Northern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky to provide the Oklahoma Early Mathematics Testing Program to help you assess your level of mathematics education.

This test is not for a grade.  It will not place you in math classes at OU.  It is not designed to make you feel good or bad about your math skills.  It simply helps you understand what areas of mathematics you are strong in and what areas you need to work on.  Take it as often as you want to keep up with your growing mathematics skills.

The more you know about where you stand in your math education, the more you can ask of your teachers and parents.  You can tell them where you need help.  You can choose the classes in high school that will help you get ready for college.  You can make the system work for you!

After completing the OKEMTP test, you will know what math skills you have and what skills need work.

Then you will have the tools to prepare for college mathematics!
