OU BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE

n excellent scientific environment for study in the behavioral neurosciences exists at the University of Oklahoma.  Please navigate these pages to learn more about the laboratories and research interests of the neuroscience faculty at OU.   In addition to these labs, the Zoology department has strong research groups in physiology, animal behavior and ecology.

We offer many graduate-level courses in neurosciences and related fields, including: Introduction to Neuroscience, Cellular & Molecular Neurobiology, Endocrine Physiology, Evolution of Development, Functional Genomics, Hormones & Behavior, Neural Control of Movement, Neurobehavioral Development, Neurobiology of Memory, Physiological Bases of Animal Behavior, and Sensory Functions.  In addition, several special topics courses are available and additional neuroscience courses are offered through the Oklahoma Center for Neurosciences, a multidepartmental program which offers graduate courses and speakers series.
