Thinking about becoming a Catholic?

Becoming Catholic is one of life’s most profound and joyous experiences. Some are blessed enough to receive this great gift while they are infants, and, over time, they recognize the enormous grace that has been bestowed on them. Others enter the Catholic fold when they are older children or adults.

If you have been Catholic before, all you need to do is to go to confession. If you haven't yet become Catholic, your local parish will have a program (called the Rite of Christian Initation for Adults, or RCIA for short) to help you become part of the Church. Call your local parish for information on time and place.

Still Have Questions?

Catholic Answers has an excellent webpage dedicated to those who are inquiring about the Catholic Church.  It is full of great information that can answer plenty of questions.  Also, be sure to check out our Links Page, for other great Catholic websites.

Also, Catholic Answers has their own radio program, "Catholic Answers Live", you can listen to Monday-Friday from 5PM-6PM on KTLR 890 AM, Oklahoma City

One of the best ways to learn about the Catholic faith (besides actually going to a parish) would be to attend one of our weekly meetings in the Student Union.  You don't have to be Catholic to attend!  Anyone can come to our meetings!  At the meeting, we will discuss important Catholic topics (such as Mary, the saints, the Eucharist, etc.) that will be sure to peak your interest.  You are more than welcome to become a member or just stop by!

Also, don't hesitate to contact us!  We are here to serve!!  We can answer any questions that one might have about the Church.  Feel free to contact us at info@oucatholics.com and someone will get back with you shortly.
