Mission and Service
The Office of Research Administration, Services Contract/Agreement Division provides services to the OUHSC campus community related to Professional Service (including consulting), Affiliation, Fee-For-Service, Provider and other related Agreements. Agreements are reviewed, negotiated and finalized with federal and state agencies, companies, nonprofit organizations and individuals for a variety of purposes.

ORA Employee Spotlight
Mitzi Jones, our Staff Assistant, recently celebrated her 7th year anniversary with the ORA. Mitzi provides administrative support to the management team for ORA, and her long and varied experience has afforded her the opportunity to train most of the new administrative secretaries for many years. As a seasoned member of the ORA administrative staff, she is also integrally involved with many special projects often regarding file maintenance and storage, and database maintenance. Mitzi was an OUHSC Employee of the Month in FY 2008, is a loyal employee to the OUHSC, and is a huge OU fan. Boomer!
Why are professional service and other non-research agreements routed for official signature?
Institutional policy requires that all service contracts/agreements be routed and signed by a designated institutional signatory in ORA before pursuing any work related to the agreement. Service-related agreements include affiliations, consulting and speaking, provider, any PPP agreements, related amendments/modifications, and any other arrangement that obligates the Institution's employees or resources.
