Office 365 for OU Health Sciences Center

To facilitate the continuity of University operations, communication, and collaboration, OU Information Technology will enable access to Office 365 productivity tools (EXCLUDING email) for all Health Sciences Center faculty, staff, and students beginning the week of March 16, 2020.

Log in at https://portal.office.com using your OUHSC email and password. You will have access to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and OneDrive in Office 365. There is no change in how you access your ouhsc.edu email. 

“Office 365” is a service which joins Office suite applications with the online web apps of Office Online, as well as cloud storage with OneDrive. With a new Office 365 account, you can use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint through your web browser. 

OUHSC accounts are not licensed to download desktop apps (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) through Office 365. Contact your Tier 1 or IT Rep for desktop software.

Yes, mobile apps are available using your OUHSC username and password. Install Mobile Apps

Office 365 is NOT approved for storing or sharing regulated data. Review the Storage and Data Sharing Standard to identify the best option for working with regulated data. 

A new Office 365 account has been created with your @ouhsc.edu username. To access your previously created Office 365 account (created prior to March 14, 2020) :

If you have issues accessing your Office 365 account or questions about using these new online tools, please contact the OU IT Service Desk for your campus.
