In this paper I offer a solution to the problem of luck for the libertarian. That is, I show how mere indeterminism in the sequence of events leading to a choice and action need not be inconsistent with the sort of control required for moral
responsibility. I argue that the solution to the luck problem is parallel in interesting ways to a way of arguing that causal determinism also does not rule out the sort of control required for moral responsibility.
