Public and Community Services
University of Oklahoma Outreach
Of all the services, programs and divisions housed at the University of Oklahoma, the Public and Community Service Division (PCS) is unique.
For more than 60 years programs within the PCS Division have evolved by recognizing and responding to changing social and cultural needs. PCS programming remains constant in its efforts to address the needs of underserved populations.
Nationally recognized content specialists create programming to address needs and our strategic business model finds funding to support programming. It is one of the country’s most socially responsive college organizations.
The PCS Division has 16 departments and more than 500 employees.

Continuing Education ...

"The purpose of education is to change people, and if there is something that needs changing, I would rather it happen rationally than on a trial and error basis. And who is it that should step forward with helping people be rational? The University.”
