New Sooner Orientation

New Sooner Orientation (NSO) is a required part of every new student's success at the University of Oklahoma. Students will meet with their academic advisors, enroll in their first semester of classes, and learn about resources they'll need throughout their time at OU. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and will have focused parent and family sessions. To schedule an orientation day and learn more, visit the New Sooner Orientation website.

Camp Crimson

Camp Crimson is a three day, two night experience for incoming OU students.  During Camp Crimson, students will begin their lifelong relationship with the University of Oklahoma by learning its history and traditions, getting acquainted with campus, meeting new friends and finding a vital support system to help them succeed. To register for Camp Crimson, visit the Camp Crimson website.

Join us at the Family Farewell for a celebratory event before you say goodbye! This event takes place on the Thursday evening of OU Move-In. Enjoy free barbeque and ice cream served by OU staff, faculty memebrs and student leaders. Stop by the Parent and Family Programs tent to purchase your Oklahoma Family t-shirt and take a picture in the free photo booth!
