George Ruch
Assistant Professor
George Ruch joined the Price College of Business in 2015 after completing his doctorate in accounting at the University of Alabama. He has been a licensed CPA in the State of Alabama since 2007. Prior to pursuing his doctorate at the University of Alabama, he worked as an auditor for three years in the Birmingham, AL office of Deloitte and Touche. George’s research interests are in financial reporting, with a particular interest in the costs and benefits of accounting conservatism. As a doctoral student, he taught both introductory and intermediate financial accounting courses. He will be teaching intermediate accounting at OU.
