Karen Hennes
Associate Professor of Accounting

Dr. Hennes' research interests revolve around financial reporting choices and disclosure. Her work has been published in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Accounting Horizons, and Oil, Gas & Energy Quarterly. Her research on restatements (with Brian Miller and Andrew Leone) received the American Accounting Association's Notable Contribution to the Literature Award in 2013.
Dr. Hennes teaches Financial Reporting Issues in Energy (including the UK study abroad section) and Intermediate Financial Accounting II.
