Ron Davidson is the Director of Supply Chain Management for the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma.  Prior to his role at the OU, Mr. Davidson led and developed physician owned companies and strategically placed them to a position of prominence in the healthcare community. During his tenure, he was in charge of many acquisitions of Surgical Hospitals, Community Hospitals, Physical Therapies, Open MRIs, and major Orthopedic Hospitals. Mr. Davidson also developed supporting businesses for physicians designed to better equip them with support services (office management, IT, risk management and compliance programs, etc.) and has grown those businesses to successful ventures. 

Mr. Davidson is a veteran of the United States Army, an active member of the Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association and has been a member of the Medical Group Management Association for over twenty years. He served as the Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer on the state MGMA Board of Directors and was appointed to the National Advisory Board for MYSIS computers.

Besides his current position as Director of Supply Chain Management, Mr. Davidson has served as Entrepreneur in Residence at OU and is currently the founder and CEO of Mintiva LLC.  In 2011, Mr. Davidson was honored as Innovator “On the Brink” for the State of Oklahoma and in 2012, received an award as “Innovator of the Year” for his patented formulation “Mintiva Pain Relief Cream”.
