MS IN management information systems
Program description
To provide strong organizational knowledge and a mastery of information systems technologies for people with an undergraduate degrees in MIS, as well as those with undergraduate degrees in other areas, business or non-business. The program is particularly valuable to those with a non-business undergraduate degree. The program prepares to students for a career as a systems analyst, business analyst or consultant. The curriculum can modified for students who are considering pursuing a Ph.D. in MIS.

Congratulations to Will Parker, Cleona Phillips and Ryan Walston for winning second place at the SUIT (Strategic Use of IT) Showdown hosted by Texas A&M. All three are first year MS MIS students who represented the Price College. The first place was won by Indiana University and the third place was won by Texas A&M.

Funding for these students to travel to and attend the competition was provided by the Center for MIS Studies (CMISS, www.cmiss.net).
A new graduate certificate in MIS program has just been approved. Students admitted to the program will complete 12 credit hours of graduate coursework to earn their certificate. We will post additional details shortly. Contact Jennifer Dodson (jdodson@ou.edu) for more details.
