MIS hosts 24 Hours of Mobile Innovation

The first 24 Hours of Mobile Innovation event launched Feb. 28. OU student teams created a mobile application using SAP (systems applications and products) data to solve a problem or leverage an opportunity within the oil and gas industry.

The event kicked off with Price Interim Dean Daniel Pullin welcoming students. Guest speakers were Tony Kelly, CEO of Tech Allied Consulting; Neel Woods of Tech Allied Consulting; and Kim Obermaier of SAP, considered one of the world’s largest inter-enterprise software company.

The event was hosted by Price College, Price College Division of Management Information Systems and Tech Allied Consulting. Sponsors were Devon Energy Corp., ConocoPhillips, Phillips66, Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores, SAP and OU Information Technology.
