A Price undergraduate team was awarded $1,500 for a second place finish in the 2014 Phillips 66-Enactus Business Ethics Case Competition at Kansas State University.

The team was comprised of students Alyssa Boutelle, Austin Kipp, Stephen Allred and J.C. Fischer (photo from left, Boutelle, Kipp, Bolino, Allred and Fischer).

The Price team had 36 hours to analyze an ethical dilemma titled “Do We Need a Social Media Policy?” and then plan and present a solution to a 12-member judging panel.

This year was the first time for Price College to participate in the competition, which took place Feb. 20-22 in Manhattan, Kan. “I am extremely proud of our students’ presentation, poise and hard work throughout the event,” says team coach Ana Bolino.

Enactus is a nonprofit, global organization that uses entrepreneurial action to create and implement community outreach projects around the world. The competition was sponsored by the Phillips 66 Excellence in Business Ethics Initiative.
