OU Entrepreneurship Program Ranked Best in the Nation by Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine

Nov 14, 2017

The Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Oklahoma’s Michael F. Price College of Business is one of the best in the nation, according to The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine. On Nov. 14, The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine named the undergraduate program and graduate program separately in the top 15 (#12 for undergraduate and #14 for graduate) on its list of "Top 25 Graduate and Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Programs for 2018."

The graduate level program, located at the newly dedicated Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business in Oklahoma City, jumped five spots compared to last year’s rankings. 2018 marks the seventh consecutive year the OU entrepreneurship program has been ranked in the top 10 (#5 for undergraduate and #6 for graduate) among public universities by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine.

"These latest national entrepreneurship rankings recognize the important role OU’s Price College of Business plays as an economic engine for Oklahoma and beyond. Our world-class faculty and talented students from all disciplines work arm-in-arm with business leaders and start-ups to research, teach and launch the ideas that are shaping Oklahoma's future.” says Daniel W. Pullin, dean of Price College, where he holds the Fred E. Brown Chair in Business.

The company tallied its lists of top 25 undergraduate and top 25 graduate schools based on a survey it conducted from May through August 2017 of more than 300 schools offering programs in entrepreneurship studies. The 60-question survey looked at each school’s commitment to entrepreneurship education inside and outside the classroom. The Princeton Review has reported these lists annually since 2006 in partnership with Entrepreneur Media Inc., publisher of Entrepreneur Magazine.

“These colleges and business schools have superb entrepreneurship programs,” said Robert Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief. “We highly recommend them to any applicant aspiring to launch a business. Their faculties are truly engaged in entrepreneurism. Their courses are rich with in-class and out-of-class experiential components, and the financial and networking support their students and programs receive via donors and alumni is extraordinary.”

“We publish this ranking every year to help entrepreneurs find the best learning-focused environments,” says Jason Feifer, editor-in-chief of Entrepreneur Magazine. “The list is an excellent resource, and I hope everyone interested in undergraduate or graduate programs spends some time with it. The schools on this list can help prepare students for exciting, entrepreneurial futures.”
