The Council regularly meets at 1:00 p.m., Buchanan Hall Room 234-A, on the first Wednesday of each month (except December).

If a member misses three meetings (Council and/or subcommittee), he or she will no longer be a member of the Council, and the President's Office, Faculty Senate or the Student Association will be notified that a new member must be selected. Members should inform Judy Cain or the current chair if they will miss a meeting.

A quorum is a simple majority of the voting members of the Council, including the chair. At the last meeting in the spring, the Council determines whether or not it is necessary to conduct business during the summer, and, if so, selects the members present on campus for the summer as a subcommittee to handle such business. The chair of the Council as well as subcommittees, is chosen for the coming year.
