ON-CAMPUS STUDENT ENROLLMENT BY STATE

Fall 1999

* Students from out of state (3,331) and foreign countries (1,594)
  account for 23 percent of the total enrollment of the university
  (21,339).
   
* The largest number of out-of-state students come from Texas (1,566).
   
* Other states from which the university attracts a large number
  include California (141), Arkansas (135), Kansas (104) and
  Colorado (99).
   
* Students represent every state in the nation.
