Sooner Student System Project
S³ - the Cube - An integrated student information system that unifies our campus data and enables new capabilities that enhance efficiency while providing an improved quality of service for the campus community.
S³ will provide the administrative and technical leadership necessary to transform the University’s way of doing business. The Sooner Student System will be the largest technological undertaking the University has ever seen. This new system will greatly benefit faculty, staff and students by simplifying the way the University does business.
Mission
Implement an integrated student information system that unifies our campus data and enables new capabilities that enhance efficiency while providing an improved quality of service for the campus community.
Objectives
- Provide a fully integrated, sustainable SIS for University administration based upon effectiveness and efficiency which seeks to insure the success for all students
- Provide a single, personal, web-based point of entry and community for all members of the University to access the University's student information resources
- Provide secure and reliable services that are easy to use and maintain with reduced manual intervention
- Provide near round-the-clock self-service of basic student data
- Provide enhanced reporting capability and data access (current and historical) to serve the needs of various campus units
