Mr. Stone

Mr. StoneAppointed to a seven-year term by Gov. Mary Fallin in 2015, Regent Stone is chairman and CEO of Saxum, an integrated marketing communications agency headquartered in Oklahoma City with offices in Tulsa and Houston. He received his B.A. in history from OU in 2000, where he was a Rhodes Scholar finalist, a Letzeiser medalist and a four-year letterman for the men's basketball team. Regent Stone serves as founder and chairman of the Isaiah Stone Foundation supporting epilepsy research as well as chairman of Allied Arts, the united arts fund in Oklahoma City. He has also served in various leadership roles in IPREX, the global alliance of communication agencies, the PR Council in New York, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) for the Western Region of the United States. At OU, Regent Stone has served on the Board of Visitors for the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication, the OU Libraries and the College of International Studies. Regent Stone received the OU Regents' Alumni Award in 2009. He is often a public speaker, political and nonprofit fundraiser and has been published in the New York Times and CNBC.com among other places. In 2009, Gov. Fallin appointed him to the "Big Ideas" task force for Oklahoma economic development. He and his wife, Lee Anne, also an OU alum, have two sons, Jackson and Walker, and live in Oklahoma City.
